Beginning with this posting, I'm going to occasionally feature scans of book covers from my own library - books that are reflective of the sex, violence and war cultures of the past several decades. This will just be a gallery you can stop at every now and then and see stuff you may not have seen before.
The Hardman books were a cut above most of what was written in private eye fiction of the 70s. They have a cult following and are almost impossible to find nowadays. The one book I never had in this series and have never seen before is "The One Dollar Ripoff".
It's a shame that a guy as talented as writer Ralph Dennis fell on such hard times toward the end of his life that he was working in resale retail. These books are a great legacy, though. Good luck finding them. If you do, please let me know what you think when you read them. "Down Among The Jocks" is a particular favorite of mine.
